Turritella Seashells are a great decoration accessory for your home, bathroom or fish tank. They are a great ornament. Turritella Seashells are also known as "screw shells". They have slender spirals and range in color from tan to dark brown. They can be found on sandy mud in the S.W. Pacific.
The Turritella Shell shape is somewhat variable, and shells are thin, tall spire, numerous convex whorls, horny, rough and not lustrous. The rounded mouth and complete absence of a siphonal canal at the anterior end of the aperture clearly identify turritellas.
